Tips on Different Styles of Snaps

Due to the manner in which styles 1, 6, 18, 19 close, with tiny male into female fittings, I recommend these for use with very small amounts of hair.

I have tried it on my own hair, and 17-22, though having a small male/female fitting, can actually handle a bit more hair than I thought!

Customers say that styles 10 & 11 are very secure and can hold lots of beads on. I have found that style 23 snaps tightly, as well. Different snaps have different degrees of tightness and may or may not be good to hold lots of beads on.

Please email me after you've used your snaps for a bit, and tell me of any problems you encounter, if I haven't already mentioned them here. Also let me know which snaps are nice and tight, and good for beads.

For crystals that fall out, give them a dot or spray of clear craft glue over the top. Not a bad idea to do this ahead of time when you first get your snaps.
