Today’s hairstyle includes Princess Combo Hearts and Flowers in Pearl, Clear Glitter Barrels, all finished off with Bello Panda Flower Snaps.  You can find the Clear Glitter Barrels on the Christmas Page http://www.snapaholics.com/au/christmas.html.  The hairsyle is a braided veil with hanging braids at the back.   

Australian African Network is a Sydney based group for people who are in mixed African/non-African relationships, couples & families - and who are mixed African & non-African heritage.

AAN was established in 2005 to support and strengthen connections between African and non African Australians, and between Australia and Africa.

Our aims are:

• to support mixed African and non African Australian families, including adoptive families
• to foster and encourage bilingualism amongst African-Australian children
• to foster communication and connection between African and non African Australians in diverse ways, including dialogue and discussion (seminars, workshops, conferences, meetings etc), arts, media, and social functions.
• to develop personal and community connections between groups and individuals in Australia and Africa
• to actively resist racism and support a multicultural Australia

AAN is currently being managed by a volunteer management committee of 6 people. There are currently vacancies only for African heritage committee members.

Ella is wearing hanging twists done with the electronic Conair Twister.   I’ve used the new Love Heart Snaps and love them.  They clasp shut over a good amount of hair and have great staying power.   I only have a few more packs of the Coloured Love Heart Snaps left and there’ll be no more, unless I can find a supplier. These photos were taken a day after styling.  The twists would be a lot neater if I had used bands at the base of the twists.  We will only get a week out of this style since Ella won’t wear a night cap.
